Courses

  • On graduation level the college offers Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. in Maths and Biology) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) programs.
  • Post- graduate program (M.A.) is available in the subjects Sanskrit and Education.
  • Note - In Compliance with National Education Policy, 2020 semester System has been introduced in graduation-level courses. Following changes have taken place in the structure of courses according to NEP-2020:

 

  • The Students will select three Major and one Minor subjects while taking admission in graduation first semester (B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com).
  • Along with these four subjects, the students will also select a vocational subject and a co- curricular subject (which will change in every semester)
  • The details of subjects and their selection process is as follows-

 Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

 

  1. There are three faculties in Arts Faculty- Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Languages and Faculty of Fine Arts.
  2. Students will select three major subjects (two from any faculty of Arts and third, from another Faculty of arts) while taking admission in first semester.
  3. The fourth minor subject can be selected from Arts, Science or Commerce Faculty.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

 

    1. The College offers two courses in Science on graduation level- B.Sc. (Maths) and B.Sc. (Biology). The Students of Maths Group and Biology group will select these subjects-

  • 2. The Students will select a minor subject from Arts or Commerce Faculty.

 

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)

1. The students of First Semester (B.Com) will select following subjects-

Business Organization

Business Statistics

Business Communication


2. The Students will select a minor subject from Arts or Science faculty.

Master of Arts (M.A.)

Post-graduation Course (M.A.) is available on following subjects- Sanskrit and Education.

Note –

    1. First and Second year of graduation programs will run according to semester system.
    2. Third year will continue in annual examination pattern.
    3. Third year students will drop one subject amongst the three subjects.

     

    Note:
    1) All Graduation ( B.A., B.Sc., B. Com.) and Post- graduation (M.A.) programs will follow the semester system.

    2) Fifth semester students will drop one subject amongst the three major subjects. There is no minor subject in the fifth semester.
