Kanpur Vidya Mandir Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Kanpur has completed forty years of its existence since its inception in 1984. The college has a magnificent building situated in the heart of the city in Swaroop Nagar, Kanpur near Motijheel. The college is well known for higher education for girls in the disciplines of Arts, Science and Commerce with innovative teaching, group discussion, student’s debate and seminars, presentation by students, role plays, ease analysis and assignments as a part to the curriculum taught in the college according to New Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Now the time demands and we need to shape ourselves in such a way that can meet the challenges of the prevailing world for survival of the fittest, thus, the college plans to launch some useful professional courses to stand strongly along the Competitive age.

The college for the first time in January 2009 Ventured for NAAC Accreditation and the college was accredited as 'A' grade college by NAAC. Since then college has never lagged behind in the matter of NAAC Accreditation and even today our college is ‘NAAC' Accredited college of C. S. J. M. University, Kanpur.

The college is having its own website “www.kvmpgcollege.org.in" and the website of the college nicely shows the faculties and academic department functioning in the college, achievements of the college, details of the faculty members and infrastructural facilities available in the college, i.e. Lift for going up to second floor, Generator facility, Cold water facility, Auditorium and Seminar hall available in the college premises.
